Important Membership Notes
A few quick points to help avoid confusion and keep costs down.
Membership year
Membership commences on 1st September and runs for one year. Anyone joining on or after 1st June will automatically be enrolled for the current membership year and the following year.
Individuals only
We only accept membership from individuals; applications from societies or organisations cannot be accepted. Memberships are non-transferable.
Standing orders & cancellations
If you cancel your membership, please remember to cancel your standing order with your bank. Payments received after membership has lapsed — where we no longer hold contact details — cannot be refunded and will be treated as a donation unless we are advised otherwise.
Journal delivery for new members
New members, irrespective of membership type, will initially receive e-journal access. If you join in time for the next printed issue, this will be posted to you; otherwise you will receive the printed journal from the following quarter. This helps reduce printing and postage costs and keeps subscriptions affordable.
