Airedale and Wharfedale Family History Society (AWFHS) is a member-run organisation dedicated to promoting and supporting family history research in the Airedale and Wharfedale regions of Yorkshire.

• Encourage the study of family history and genealogy

• Transcribe and preserve historical records

• Support members in tracing their ancestry

• Promote public interest in local and social history

• Monthly meetings (in person and via Zoom) with expert speakers

We cover parishes, chapels, and communities throughout Airedale and Wharfedale — including Skipton, Ilkley, Keighley, Otley, Addingham, and surrounding areas.
