Curious about Artificial Intelligence but not sure where to start?
Join us for a relaxed and informal Zoom session where we'll explore what happens when AI meets genealogy. This isn't a lecture or a PowerPoint presentation—it's an opportunity to experiment, ask questions and see AI in action using real family history examples.
We'll begin with a short introduction explaining what AI is (and what it isn't), before opening the floor to you. Type your genealogy questions or ideas into the Zoom chat and, together, we'll see how AI responds. Some answers will be impressive, some may be surprising, and some will remind us why genealogists should always verify their sources!
No previous experience with AI is needed, and there are no silly questions. The aim is simply to experiment, learn from one another and discover how AI can become another useful tool in the genealogist's toolkit.
So bring your curiosity, your questions and perhaps even a brick wall or two—and let's see where the conversation takes us.
No slides. No lectures. No experience needed. Just curiosity.
This is a special one-off Zoom event and is separate from our regular programme of talks.
